Hi, I'm David
I've been building software professionally for over 20 years — from startups to enterprise, from PHP monoliths to serverless TypeScript. I've been the senior developer, the tech lead, and the CTO. I've made the expensive mistakes so you don't have to.
In recent years, I've watched AI change how teams build software. Junior developers can ship faster than ever. But the gap between "code that works" and "architecture that scales" hasn't gone away — if anything, it's widened.
Why fractional?
Most teams don't need a full-time senior developer watching every commit. They need someone available for the moments that matter — the architecture decision, the tricky debugging session, the "are we doing this right?" conversation.
That's what Fracsen is. Not a consulting firm. Not an agency. Just an experienced developer you can talk to when you need to.
Based in Budapest
Fracsen is a service of Mersey Cloud Kft, based in Budapest, Hungary. I work with teams across Europe, primarily in CET-friendly timezones. All work is remote and async-first.
